About Votan
Research
Votan Research Corporation is a privately held
research and development organization that advances
global technology in the domain of visual
interactive telecommunication and information
sciences. Votan licenses the manufacture and sale of
its technologies for military, public
safety, enterprise, transportation and television
broadcasting applications. Votan's highly
flexible architectures encompass a variety of
open-platform facilities, mobile, and wearable digital
video recorders/transmitters and comprehensive information management
infrastructures to deliver real-time mission critical
information whenever and wherever needed.
The Centerpiece of Votan technology is its
fully-automated hands-free real-time information
transmission and management systems that eliminate
"information overload" while providing comprehensive
contextual situation awareness. These systems
include secure real-time and retrospective video
analytics together with live embedded network-centric
information services. High-quality video with
synchronized audio, data telemetry, biometry,
geo-contextual information, high-resolution imaging,
and peripheral control data is recorded,
distributed, and streamed live over
virtually any wireless IP service. Votan design
components include Votan's breakthrough solid-state cellphone-size television
broadcasting system that is easily the most
cost effective, smallest, lightest, lowest power and most rugged system of its kind.
Frame-synchronous
information can include multi-channel audio,
multiple video channels, high-resolution still images, GPS information,
Ground Radar, Infra-red Sensor, Biometry, and WAN
traffic, all managed to eliminate packet loss while
maximizing available bandwidth automatically.
The Revolution Begins
Founded in early Q1-2004, Votan released its first products
in mid-2006.
Successful field trials of the Calisto
Evidentiary Recording and Transmission system (CERT) resulted in
initial sales in 4Q-2006 as well as a number of
strategic partnerships to position the company for
rapid growth in public safety, military,
enterprise security, remote emergency medical, and
television broadcasting markets.
Votan has created more than 20 technological
innovations, five of which are fundamental technical
processes, all of which are pending patents.
