Merlin Tactical Awareness Systems

Merlin is the most advanced real-time geo-contextual visual communication system on earth. Merlin combines LIVE (real-time) video with geo-location, floor plan graphics, video sharing, shared drawing on maps, high-resolution photographic exchange, audio, biometry, data telemetry all into an intuitive wearable heads-up user interface that is both easy to train and use. The wearable central processor has no fans, spinning disks, or other moving parts, and is roughly the size of a PDA. It is submersible to 10 meters and continuously remains cool to the touch during operation. Together with its heads-up display, cameras and microphones, the entire wearable set consumes less than 10 watts, and utilizes standard issue power packs.

The system utilizes Votan's SSTP (Single Socket Transmission Protocol) to manage an unlimited number of simultaneous connections and is compatible with all IP networks including cellular, satellite, and mesh networks.
